別府八湯の豊かな温泉の恵みに感謝するお祭りで
4月1日から3日間は市内の100以上の共同温泉が無料開放され、商店街には温泉神社の神輿が繰り出します。
別府八湯温泉道で1年間に新たに認定を受けた温泉名人が表彰され、大平山では扇山火まつりの炎が別府の夕空を焦がすなど、新年度のスタートに合わせてイベント満載で執り行われる感謝祭です。
It is a festival to show gratitude to the blessings of great hot springs of Beppu Hatto, over 100 public hot springs are open for free for 3 days starting April 1, and mikoshis from the Onsen Shrine are sent out to the shopping streets.
It is a thanksgiving festival with full of events in time with the start of the next fiscal year such as newly recognized hot spring masters within the year receive a commendation from Beppu Hatto Onsendo, and the fire of Ogiyama Fire Festival lights up the evening sky of Beppu.
