熊本夏の三大火祭りにも数えられる熊本県山鹿市の大宮神社の例祭です。
15日は奉納灯籠の飾り付けや花火大会、16日は各地の会場で女性達が和紙と糊だけで作った灯籠を頭にがぶり、伝統的な踊りを披露や松明行列が行われます。

This festival takes place at Omiya Shrine in Yamaga in Kumamoto Prefecture, and is one of the three largest summer festivals in Kumamoto. On the 15th there is a lantern decorating event, as well as a fireworks display. On the 16th each of the regions have their own performances where women wear lanterns made from just paper and glue on their heads, and perform a traditional dance or parade with the lanterns.
