千年以上前から伝わる五穀豊穣と無病息災を祈願する伝統行事。
鬼を「追い払う」ものとしてとらえるのではなく「鬼に姿を変えた先祖を出迎える」という珍しい形式を引き継いでいます。
22時頃には鬼が登場して、赤鬼と黒鬼による豪快な演舞がはじまると場内は熱気でいっぱいになります。
It is the traditional event passed along over 1000 years to pray for the productiveness of grain and perfect health.
It is a very unique inheritance because instead of "warding off" Oni (devils), they "welcome Oni who are transformed from their ancestors".
The Oni appears at 22 o'clock, and the site is filled with a heated atmosphere when red Oni and black Oni start performing a stirring martial arts demonstration.
