３００年の歴史があるとされる福岡県直方市の多賀神社の山笠行事です。
集団山見せや太鼓競演会「追い山笠」では、古町北区、古町中区、多賀区、新町祇園の４山笠が競演し、山車を前後に激しく揺らす「がぶり」を披露します。

This yamagasa float event is over 300 years old and held at Taga Shrine in Noogata, Fukuoka Prefecture. There is a parade route and taiko drum competition. 4 yamagasa floats from Furumachi Kita-ku, Furumachi Chuu-ku, Taga-ku, and Shinmachi Gion compete for the best float in the “Oi Yamagasa” competition, by swinging violently back and forth showing off their parts which is called kaburi.
