江戸時代中期に町人の力によって創り出された祭です。県の無形民俗文化財に指定されているこの祭のメインは豪華な曳山であり、その中で奏でる力強い水口ばやしは祭を一層盛り上げます。

Power of townsmen created this festival in the middle of the Edo period. The main event of this festival which is registered as an Intangible Folk Cultural Assets by the prefecture, is gorgeous floats and powerful Minakuchi bayashi played there heaps up the festival even more.
