野菜や草花を利用し、見立て細工を飾る祭りです。その年の話題や行事をテーマに素朴でユニークな作品が見ものとなっています。話題の人物やアニメキャラクターなどを表現したつくりもんが展示され、たくさんの人で賑わいます。300年の歴史を持ち、五穀豊穣を感謝して行われる地蔵祭りが起源となり、長い歴史を経て、野菜や草花を利用した見立て細工の民衆芸術「つくりもん」を飾る現在の姿となりました。

A festival where flowers and vegetables are used and crafted for decoration. The features of this festival are the unique and simple crafts made with the themes created with recent events and topics. It is very lively with many people looking at the various exhibits crafted express recent animation characters and persons. With a history of 300 years, originating from a Jizo festival to pray for good harvest, after long years turned into a festival to exhibit Tsukurimon crafts with flowers and vegetables.
