沼田町夜高あんどん祭りは20数基の夜高行燈（吊り行灯と山車を組み合わせたようなもの）が両日街を練り回し、夜にはぶつかり合い（喧嘩行燈）が行われます。
また、夜高行燈、吊り行燈の出来を競い合う夜高あんどんコンテストも行われます。
At Numata-cho Yako Andon (Paper Lantern) Festival, more than twenty Yako Andon (parade float and hanging paper lanterns combined) parade around the streets on both days, and at night, floats bump into each other as if they are fighting. Also, Yako Andon contest is held to compete the excellence of Yako Andon and Hanging Andon.
