毎年8月19・20日に今高野山通りを中心に行われる祭です。
両日の昼は吊り人形をだんじりに乗せ町内を練りまわり、夕方7時ごろより、だんじりにわかを繰り出し「にわか（即興の芸や芝居など）」を披露する。通りには出店が並び、ステージイベントや花火大会も行われます。

Every year on August 19th and 20th this festival happens on Ima Koyasan-dori Street. On both days hanging dolls on danjiri floats are paraded around the town. At 7pm the floats parade around showing Niwaka (improvised performances and plays). There are also shops along the street, stage events and a fireworks display.
