三原のやっさ踊りを中心にしたお祭り行事です。戦国時代、小早川隆景が海城を築いた
ことを祝して老若男女問わずに踊りだしたのが始まりという「やっさ踊り」で三原駅周辺の市街を練歩く他、最終日には、糸崎港岸壁の台船より約５０００発の花火が打ち上げられ祭を締めくくります。

The main part of this festival is the Mihara Yassa Dance. Yassa dance started since people regardless of age or gender danced celebrating Kobayakawa Takakage for building a sea castle during the Sengoku period. The dance is performed at the town around Mihara Station. The festival closes on the last day at Itozaki Port Bay where over 5,000 fireworks are lit from barges.
