白山神社 小迫の延年

源頼朝が平泉征討の帰途、那須与一の扇の的射に擬した野祭りを行ったことと、白山神社別当寺「勝大寺」に伝えられていた「延年」が習合して「小迫の延年」になったと伝えられて、通称「小迫祭」とよばれている。那須与一の扇の的射にあやかった弓道大会や、地場産品即売会も開催されます。
It is believed that the Ennen (longevity) of Obasama was born from two incidents combined. One of them is from a field festival that Minamoto no Yoritomo imitated the Nasu no Yoichi’s archery shooting on a fan when he was on his way from the Hiraizumi conquest. The other one is the belief of longevity that was passed on at the related temple of Hakusan Shrine called Shodai Temple. It is commonly known as the Obasama Festival. The archery competition whose idea is from the archery shooting on the fan of Nasu no Yoichi, and the local produced products sale are held.
