江戸時代から行われている伝統あるお祭り。18社がそろって五穀豊穣、大漁祈願祭の後行われる、水上で神輿が数社もみあう「汐ふみ」が有名。その他、町は出店でにぎわ、小学校の校庭や商店街なども神輿が練り歩く。

It is a traditional festival held from the Edo period. 18 different shrines come together to pray for good harvest and good fishing, and the climax is where the Mikoshi from several shrines come together clashing in the water, called Shiofumi. Other than that, the town is filled with stalls, and the Mikoshi is carried through school yards and market streets.
