福島県二本松市にある二本松神社の例大祭。秋田の「竿燈祭」、愛知の「尾張津島天王祭」と並び日本三大提灯祭りの一つに数えられる。また、祭礼囃子・祭ともに、福島県重要無形民俗文化財に指定されている。7台の太鼓台にそれぞれ300個余りの提灯をつけて町内を曳き回す。

Annual large festival held at the Nihonmatsu Shrine in Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima. Known as one of the top 3 Japan Lantern Festivals, along with the Kanto Festival of Akita and Owari Tsushima Tenno Festival of Aichi. And the ritual music and festival are registered as an important intangible folk-cultural property. 7 drum platform floats with drums, each decorated with over 300 lanterns are moved around town.
