岩手県奥州市の日高神社の例大祭。300年を超える歴史を持ち、祭に使用される囃子は火防祭の「屋台囃」として岩手県指定無形民俗文化財に指定されている。
豪華絢爛に飾られた囃子屋台が、街を練り歩き、祭のクライマックスには屋台同士が仁義と礼を尽くして行う「相打ち」が行われる。

The largest festival held at Hidaka Shrine in Oshu City, Iwate. A festival with over 300 years of history, the Festival Music Floats used in the Hibuse Festival are registered as Iwate's intangible folk Cultural property.
The well decorated Festival Music Floats travel through town, and are joined in performance with the other floats at the festival climax.
