福島市のシンボル信夫山にある羽黒神社の例祭で、長さ12m・幅1.4m・重さ2tの日本一の大わらじを担ぎ市内を練り歩くことで有名。
また、縁結びの祭りとしても知られ、3年続けてお参りすると恋が成就すると言われている。

A traditional festival held at the Haguro Shrine on Mount Shinobu, a symbol of Fukushima City. Famous for carrying around a large 12 x 1.4 m Waraji with a weight of 2 metric tons around town.
Well knows as a matchmaking festival, and it is told that by attending the festival, within 3 years participant will be granted their desired spousal relationship.
