浜降祭は、御祭神が「みそぎ」を行うことによって、水の力、水の霊力を呼び、その霊力によって御神威新たな神々を奉迎する神事。
34の神社が参加しており、神輿を担ぎながら海に入っていく。神社によって神輿の担ぎ方が違うため、その違いを見比べるのも楽しみの一つ。

The Hamaorisai is a festival where the local deity performs a purification ceremony using the power of water, known as spirit power, to welcome new gods.
34 shrines participate as their portable shrines are carried into the sea. It’s amazing to see the differences in each portable shrine.
