日本三大流し踊りの1つであり、古い伝統を持ち、毎年8月中旬、市民や県内外の観光客により夜遅くまで踊られます。
黒石よされは、廻り踊り、組踊り、流し踊りの3つの踊りで構成されています。
連日2,000人もの踊り手による流し踊りもさることながら、時折、円を描く廻り踊りは観客を巻き込んでの乱舞となります。
組踊りは、近郷近在から集まってくる踊り組(20～30人)が三味線、太鼓、唄も賑やかに津軽民謡手踊りを披露します。
近年では、創作の踊りも加わり、以前にもまして熱気ある祭りになっています。

It is one of the three major Nagashi Odori dances in Japan and has a long tradition. Every year in mid-August, citizens and tourists from inside and outside of the prefecture dance the dance until late at night.
Kuroishi Yosare consists of three dances: Mawari Odori, Kumiodori, and Nagashi Odori.
The Nagashi Odori dance is performed by as many as 2,000 dancers every day, and the Mawari Odori dance, which sometimes draws a circle, becomes a wild dance involving the audience.
In the Kumiodori, dancing groups (20 to 30 dancers) from nearby areas perform Tsugaru minyo teodori with lively shamisen, drums, and singing.
In recent years, creative dances have been added to the festival, making it even more exciting than before.
