「さかいで塩まつり」（さかいでしおまつり）は坂出の特産品「塩」と、塩田整備に大きく貢献した久米通賢翁を称えての塩の奉納作りや、塩の滑り台など楽しい催しを行っています。 2010年度より会場を瀬戸大橋記念公園に移し、観客動員5万人以上と坂出市最大級のイベントとなりました。

The Sakaideshio Festival is centered on the Sakaide specialty salt, and to praise and dedicate salt for Kume Michikata, who contributed greatly to the improvement of the salt farm, and other events such as slides made of salt can be enjoyed during the festival. From 2010, the venue location has been changed to the Seto Ohashi Memorial Park, and became one of Sakaide City's largest events with over 50,000 spectators visiting.
