今治の方言で「めちゃくちゃ」、「いっぱい」、「思いっきり」という意味をもつ「おんまく」という名の夏祭りです。今治市役所から今治港にかけての辺りを中心に踊りやダンス、打ち上げ花火などの多彩なイベントが行われます。

The festival called “onmaku” in the local Imabari dialect which means “lots”, “full” and “with all one’s strength”. People dance from Imabari town to Imabari port, and there are lots of events including a fireworks display.
