小松祭りとは、愛媛県西条市で行われる秋祭りのうち、平成の大合併以前の地域（旧小松町）で行われる神社の祭礼の名称です。東に隣接する有名な西条祭りと同様に、同じ城下町で立藩時は同じ一柳氏であった小松藩の頃からだんじりが奉納されています。特に10月17日の夕刻に行われる宮入では、三嶋神社の長い階段を、舁き夫達が力を合わせてだんじりを担ぎ上げる様は勇壮です。

The Iyo Komatsu Festival is a fall festival held in Saijo-shi of Ehime-ken, and is the annual festival for a shrine in the region before the great merge of the Heisei (old Komatsucho). Like the Saijo Festival which is held close by to the east, this festival is held in the same castle town, and was ruled by the same clan leader Hitotsuyanagishi from the Komatsu Clan, and from that time a danjiri has been dedicated at the festival. And especially with the entering of the shrine performed on the evening of October 17, it is quite the soul-stirring sight to see the float carrying men put their strengths together to take the danjiri up the long stairs to the Mishima Shrine.
