上野から浅草にかけて約1.2km続く「かっぱ橋本通り」で地元商店街が開催する祭り。たくさんの七夕飾りや地元商店の出店し、音楽や踊り、様々なパフォーマーが集まる。この長い通り全体が手作り感のある活気で満たされる。

This festival runs along Kappa High Street, the local shopping district that runs for just under a mile between Ueno to Asakusa in Tokyo. Every local shop is decorated in Tanabata ornaments, with music and dancers, and all kinds of performances.
