祭りのすべての行事が半日で終わるため、「 いっとき祭 」また「 鵠沼のバカ祭 」といわれている。
山車は高欄と人形が一本柱に固定されており、その高さが約８ｍもある。神社の神事にあわせ、囃子を演奏し競演する。
神事が終わると、山車も即分解され、境内の蔵へ格納される。

Because the festival events end within half a day, this festival is also known as the “Short Moment Festival” or the “Fool of Kugenuma Festival”.
Dolls are attached to a single pillar on floats, standing at around 26 feet. There is a shrine ritual where the musical accompanists compete against each other.
