昭和27年にはじまった歴史あるまつりで、あやめや花菖蒲の愛好家たちがビール瓶などに花菖蒲やあやめの切り花を入れて行なわれる。園内には約500種100万株のあやめ(花菖蒲)が植えられており、見頃を迎えると一面に咲き誇る。

This historic festival started in 1952, iris and sward lily lovers put flowers in bottles such as beer bottles. There are 1 million iris (sward lily) of 500 kinds planted in the park, they start blooming everywhere.
