童謡「證誠寺の狸囃子」で知られる證誠寺のお祭り。市内の児童が独特の衣装とメイクで大狸、小狸、和尚さんに扮し、證誠寺の狸囃子にあわせておもしろおかしく踊りを披露する。県内外から文学愛好者を始め、多くの見物客が訪れる。

Festival held at Shojoji Temple which is famous for Nursery song "Shojoji's Raccoon Dog Bayashi". Children in town dressed up for big raccoon dogs, little raccoon dogs, and priests dance comically along with the Shojoji's Raccoon Dog music. Many literature lovers and many spectators come to this festival.
