麻賀多神社の祭禮が母体となった、280年以上の歴史を持つ千葉県佐倉市のお祭り。祭り期間中、市の指定文化財となっている山車や御輿が盛大に練り歩き、佐倉囃子にあわせた「えっさのこらさのえっさっさ」のかけ声が町に響き渡る。

Sakura-shi Chiba-ken’s Festival based on the festival of Makata Shrine which started over 280 years ago. Floats and Mikoshi which are registered as Sakura City's designated cultural property, parade splendidly through the town and the Sakura chant "Essa no korasa no esassa" echoes the town during the festival.
