天道念仏は、農耕が始まる春先に太陽を拝み、五穀豊穣を祈願する行事で、毎年３月８日近くの日曜日、海神念仏堂で行われる。中央には春に太陽が昇り、陽光が伸びた様子を象った梵天と花飾りの祭壇が作られる。

Tendo Nenbutsu is a ritual held at Kaijin Nanbutsudo on Sunday around March 8 to worship Sun in spring before farming season to pray for good harvest. There are Bonten and floral decorated altar in the middle which show that in spring the sun rises and how the sun rays shine.
