夏の富山を大いに盛り上げる富山まつりでは、城址大通りを踊り手が埋め尽くす恒例の「越中おわら踊り」や「越中おわら節全国大会」が行われます。そのほかにも躍動感いっぱいの踊りを披露する「よさこいとやま」や野外ライブの「オジサマーロックフェスティバル」など、暑さを吹き飛ばす楽しいイベントが盛りだくさんです。

Toyama in the summer becomes energized with the coming of the Toyama Festival. Dancers fill the road leading to the castle ruins for the Etchu Straw Dance and the Etchu Owara National Convention.
