江戸から明治への時代の移り替わりの中、牧之原大茶園の開墾を支えてきた蓬莱橋。
開催期間中は蓬莱橋がぼんぼりで飾られ、詩吟や舞踊、太鼓の演奏など、様々な催しが行われ、大勢の参加者と観光客で賑わいます。　

During the time period where it changed from Edo to Meiji periods, the Horai bridge sup-ported the efforts of reclaiming land for the Makinoharachaen.
During the event, the Horai bridge is decorated with Bonbori lanterns, with songs and dances, drum performances, various social events, and becomes very active with a bug turnout of participants.
