「願いごと日本一」を掲げる七夕まつりで、2013年には「１本のササにつるされた最も多い短冊」のギネス記録に認定されています。
期間中は100万人を超す人が訪れ、七夕の竹飾りは1,000本に及びます。屋台や、ステージイベント、盆踊り大会など様々な催しも行われます。

The theme of this Tanabata festival is "Wishes best in Japan" and it was listed in Guinness World Records for "the most tanzaku strips of paper on 1 bamboo grass” in 2013.
Over 1 million people visit during the festival and Tanabata bamboo decorations are over 1,000. There are stalls, stage events, bon dances and other events.
