長野の煙火の歴史は古く、江戸時代から盛んであったと伝えられています。全国屈指の煙火師を招く新作花火コンテストもあり、多くの観客を魅了します。

The history of the Nagano Enka is very old, and is said to be told from back in the Edo period. With leading national Enkashi (fireworks specialist) taking part with their new creative fireworks, the festival fascinates the spectators.
