松本市を代表する夏の恒例行事。
市内の中心市街地を「ぼんぼん松本ぼんぼんぼん」の音楽とともに、2万人を超える踊り手が練り歩きます。年々盛り上がりを見せており、踊り手の数が増え、コースも拡大されています。最近は省略して「松ぼん」とも呼ばれます。

A customary event which symbolizes the season of summer for Matsumoto City.
Over 20,000 participating dancers dance along the music that goes "bonbon matsumoto bonbonbon" and parade the streets of downtown. With an increase in excitement every year, the parading course has been extended and more dancers are participating. It is recently being abbreviated as the "Matsubon".
