馬だしとはオメシと呼ぶ神馬の鞍に神霊である幣束をつけ、2人の青年が手綱をもち馬の両脇にしがみついて砂浜を疾走する勇壮な神事。神輿はオメシの後を動き、海岸地点に着くと背の御幣をおろし、その地に埋納する。
Umadashi is a holy ritual where two young and brave men hold on to the rein of the holy Oshime horse with the offering rope representing the deity , and run down the beach. The Mikoshi travels after the Omeshi, and once it reaches the destination, takes off the offering rope and the rope is dedicated by burying in that land.
