サザンビーチちがさき花火大会は茅ヶ崎の夏の風物詩となっている花火大会。
連続打ち上げ花火の「スターマイン」や、水面に孔雀が羽を広げたように見える「水中孔雀」など、様々な花火が約3,000発打ち上げられます。
絵画コンテストで選ばれた作品が実際の花火となり打ち上がる「オリジナル花火」や、メッセージと共に打ち上がる「お祝い花火」など、ファミリーやカップルで楽しめる企画が盛りだくさんです。

The Sazan Beach Fireworks Display has become a summer tradition in Chigasaki. Over 3000 fireworks including “star mines” and “underwater peacocks” which makes the surface of the water look like a peacock’s tail, are launched into the air.
