古墳まつりのハイライトは古代衣装を身にまとった古代人が都万神社から御陵墓前広場まで行進する松明行列と大松明が燃えさかる御陵墓前広場で繰り広げられる女人や武人の舞の炎の祭典です。
その他、古代米を使った古代レストラン・神楽まつり・御陵墓一般参拝・古代花火・火起こし体験などが催され、古代の雰囲気一色に包まれる２日間です。

The highlight of the Kofun Festival is the parade of participants dressed in ancient style clothing to look like ancient people, parading from Tsuma Shrine to the Goryobomae Plaza with their torches. It is a festive event where women and men dance in the fire light as their torches blaze at the Goryobomae Plaza.
Besides this, there are events that paint the venue into an ancient feel during the two days, with events such as restaurants using ancient rice, Kagura Festival, Goryobo General worshiping, ancient fireworks, fire starting events, and so on.
