南越谷阿波踊りは日本三大阿波踊りの一つで、8月下旬に行われる。
本来、流し踊りが阿波おどりであるが、南越谷では流し踊りと共に舞台踊りも多く行われるのが特徴です。
そのほかにも、気軽に見れる組踊りや輪踊りなども行われます。

The Minami Koshigaya Awa Dance is one of Japan’s three major awa dances, and takes place in late August.
The flowing dance was originally the awa dance, but in Minami Koshigaya, both flowing and stage dance are performed.
