猿沢池に入水した采女の霊を祀る神社の祭。
17時にJR奈良駅前から猿沢池に至る三条通にて花扇使、ミス郡山、ミス奈良などのお渡り式が行われ、18時に采女神社例祭、19時に花扇を管絃船に移し、雅楽の調べとともに池を巡り、最後に花扇を池に浮かべて采女の霊を鎮め、同時に人々の幸せを祈ります。
A festival for a shrine that enshrines a maid-in-waiting that drowned in the Sarusawa-ike pond.
At 5 PM from the JR Nara Station to the Sarusawa-ike, along the Sanjo Street, various events are held such as the Kesennotsukai, Miss Koriyama and Miss Nara. And at 6 PM the Uneme Festival, and at 7 PM Kesen is moved to the Kangen Boat, floating around the pond with court music in the background, and concludes with the floating of the Kesen on the pond to quell the spirit of the main-in-waiting, and to pray for happiness for all.
