熊野速玉大社の例大祭の一つ。神代の時代絵巻を今に伝えるもので、美しい神幸船を先導して9隻の早船競漕が行われる。国指定重要無形民俗文化財。

One of the annual grand festivals held at the Kumanohayatama Taisha Shrine. 9 beautiful boats with the Shinkosen leading have a race ritual telling the legends of ancient times in the historical hand scrolls. Registered as a National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Asset.
