江戸時代から続く伊根祭は、別名「海の祇園祭」とも呼ばれ、会場安全や大漁などを祈願。本祭では、祭礼船や神楽船などが伊根湾で海上渡御を行う。

Ine Festival began in the Edo period and is also known as the “Sea Gion Festival” and it wishes for safety and large fish. This festival has festival ships and ship based traditional kagura music which is performed at the maritime shrines in Ine Bay.
