100年以上続いている歴史のあるお祭り。
4000発の迫力満点な花火や、高知県のよさこいをアレンジした「あやべよさこい」が祭を彩る。花火開始直前には1万個の灯篭流し”万灯流し”も行われ、風情を醸し出す。

This festival has continued on for over 100 years.
Over 4,000 amazing fireworks, and special Ayabe Yosakoi Dances, an arrangement of Kochi Prefecture traditional yosakoi dances, light up the festival. Over 10,000 lanterns are laid out on the water before the fireworks for the “mando nagashi” or “floating ten thousand”, creating a truly spectacular sight.
