古来の山岳信仰から生まれた独特の風習が息づく火祭り。神事の巫女舞が披露された後、霊山・雨飾山の神々の遣いである鬼に扮したふんどし姿の若者たちが、五穀豊穣と家内安全を願い、松明を持って姫川太鼓に合わせ力強く舞い踊ります。

It is a fire festival born from the unusual traditions of the ancient mountain worshiping reli-gion. After the shrine maiden's dance ritual is introduced, young participants dressed as Oni representing the messenger of the holy mountain, Mt. Amakazari gods, pray for good harvest and well-being in the home, vigorously dance with the Himekawa drums while holding torches.
