荒れ狂う千曲川の治水を祈願し、水天宮を祀ったことに由来する地域の夏祭り。
飛び入り大歓迎の民謡流しや、華麗な冠着太鼓、勇壮な勇獅子やいなせな神輿が温泉街を練り歩き、２日目の夜は、煙火大会の“光と音”でお祭りを締めくくります。

A local summer festival originating in the enshrinement of Suitengu, praying for calm water for the raging Chikuma River.
The festival has Minyo-nagashi dances what anyone can participate in, splendid drum performances, heroic Shishi and Mikoshi parades. And on the evening of the second day, the festival is concluded with the light and sounds of the Smoke and Fire Convention.
