雷神社の御神幸の際に露払い役として演じられる芸能で、番所の殿様に通行許可を願いその許可のお礼として舞う姿を再現したもの。縦一列になって前進しながら演じる形態が珍しいといわれている。昭和42年に県の無形民俗文化財に指定された。

It is an entertaining ritual of when the lead acts as a make way for the moving deity of the Rai Shrine. A dance enactment of where they ask for permission to pass the guard house, and thereafter dance to give thanks to the granted passage. It is unique in the way that the different scenes are acted in a straight line. This festival was registered as an Intangible Folk Cultural Property in 1967.
