毎年2月11日に神明宮で行われる。神明宮の拝殿で祭典が行われた後、榊や樫の枝に餅をつけ、鍬に見立てたものを持った「鍬持」が拝殿の前でくろぬりの仕草などをし３回唱和する。その後観衆が鍬を奪い合う。とった鍬を家に飾っておくと豊作間違いなしといわれている。

Performed annually at the Shinmeigu Shrine on February 11th. After the ritual is performed at the main building in the Shinmeigu Shrine, mochi is placed on a stick, and participants holding what appears to be a hoe act as if cleaning a rice paddy while singing 3 times. After this ritual, the spectators try to take the hoes. It is said that if you decorate your room with the hoe, good harvest will surely be brought to your home.
