江戸時代から続く、石動の愛宕神社の春祭りです。御旅屋に11台の絢爛豪華な花山車が勢ぞろいしたあと市街地を巡行し、町は掛け声や囃、花山車の軋む音であふれます。夕方からは、提灯花山車となり、再び御旅屋に勢ぞろいします。

The spring festival held at Atago Shrine in Isurugi started in Edo period. After 11 splendid flowered floats gather together in Otabiya, they parade though the town when the town is filled with shout encouragement, festival music, and squeak sound of flowered floats. From the evening, lanterns are set on the floats and they gather together at Otabiya again.
