須須神社の秋祭りには、高さ14m～16m余りもある総漆塗りの大キリコが繰り出します。「寺家キリコ祭り」と呼ばれ、注目の最大のキリコは県木となるアテの木で造られたもので、高さ約16.5m、重さ4tもあり、屋根の大きさは12畳にもなります。総金箔の屋根の部分の彫刻や、四本柱への昇り龍、下り龍の彫刻など、絢爛豪華な細工が見どころとなっています。キリコはお神輿のような担ぎ棒のついた巨大な灯籠（御神灯）です。

Autumn festival for Suzu Shrine, with a large fully lacquered Kiriko of 14 to 16 meters tall is taken out. Called the Jike Kiriko Festival, the featured Kiriko is made from a local Thujopsis tree, with a height of about 16.5 meters, and the roof with a size of 12 tatami mats. It is worthwhile to see the intricate carving and gold plating on the roof, and the four pillars with carvings of the climbing and lowering dragons, the other rich details and craftings. A Kiriko is a large Mikoshi like holy lantern on a long pole.
