200年余りの歴史がある蛸島町の秋祭りで、毎年9月10・11日に開催される。総漆塗りで金箔をふんだんに使い、見事な彫物が施されたキリコは、能登のキリコの中でもひときわ美しく豪華といわれ、総勢16基が町内を巡行する。また、もう1つの祭りの名物は11日夜に高倉彦神社境内で行われる「早船狂言」で、これは江戸文化の華を伝える貴重なもので、県の無形民俗文化財にも指定されている。

An autumn festival with a history of over 200 years at Takojima-machi, held annually on September 10 and 11. With a total of 16 kiriko that parades through town, it is said these are the most beautiful and luxurious Kiriko's in Noto, with very splendid carvings and being fully lacquered with gold plated extensively. Another part that this festival is famous for is the Hayafunekyougen performed on the grounds of Takakurahiko Shrine on the evening of the 11th, which is registered as an Intangible Folk Cultural Property for the prefecture, telling about the Edo period lavish culture.
