信玄公の館跡つつじヶ崎(現在の武田神社)の桜がさきほこる春4月、甲府盆地には「風林火山」の旗がはためき、いっきに戦国時代にタイムスリップします。
甲府市中心部を会場に行われる「信玄公祭り」は例年、命日（4/12）の前の金～日曜に盛大に開催され、土曜日の夕方からは、県内各地から1,500名の軍勢が甲府駅前広場に集結し、川中島に向け出陣する様子を再現します。
その規模は日本最大級！
もえさかるかがり火のもと、信玄公をとりまく勇猛果敢な武田二十四将とともに執り行う出陣の儀式・三献の儀から「風」「林」「火」「山」の各軍団の出陣へと、華麗ななかにも勇ましい一大戦国絵巻がくりひろげられます(雨天決行)
Time slip into the civil war era during April when the cherry blossoms bloom in Tsutsujigasaki (todays Takeda Shrine) where the Shingen-ko no Tachiato is, and with the Furinkazan Banners flutter in the Kofu basin.
The Shingen-kou Festival staged annually in downtown Kofu, held on Friday to Sunday before April 12, the death day. Starting on the evening of Saturday, 1,500 participants gather at the grounds in front of Kofu Station from throughout the prefecture, parading towards Kawanakajima enacting the departure to battle.
