「がんこ」とは、遠州地方の方言で「すごい」「とても」「非常に」のような意味を持ちます。よって、「がんこ祭り」とは、「超祭り」「すご～く祭り」ということで、遠州地域ならではの究極の祭りを目指して命名されました。
楽器を持って踊ることがルールの、音と踊りのエンターテイメントをお楽しみください。

In the Enshu Region dialect, the word Ganko means superb, absolutely, greatly. Hence, the Ganko Festival means the Superb or Great Festival, and is names as such aiming to become the Enshu Regions ultimate festival.
