熱海梅園では472本59品種の梅が、早咲き、中咲き、遅咲きと、順々に開花する。芸妓衆による演芸会等さまざまなイベントが日曜・祝日を中心に開催される。また、期間中の日曜・祝日には甘酒の無料サービスも行われる。

59 different kinds plum flowers on 472 trees bloom one after another at Atami Baien, some of them are early flowering and late flowering. There are many events held especially on Sundays and holidays such as entertainment shows by Geiko. Free amazake is distributed on Sundays and holidays during the festival.
