八幡津島神社の夏祭りで、神輿や大名行列、奴道中、稚児行列、山車の引き回など町を華やかに彩ります。中でも法被にふんどしの装束に身を包み、奴にふんした地元の若衆が行う『奴道中』は情緒豊かでとても人気があります
It is a flamboyant summer festival for the Hachiman-tsushima Shrine, where there are Mikoshi's and Daimyo parades, Yakko-dochu, Chigo parades, and floats being pulled through town. A very popular event is the Yakko-dochu, where local young participants wear a happi with just a loincloth, very rich in emotions.
