来宮神社例大祭の一環として開催される熱海最大のお祭り。
熱海の各町内が優勝を競い合うこがし祭り山車コンク－ルは、夜には電飾で飾った木彫り山車や装飾山車などが国道135号線に集結し、町内ごとに異なるお囃子を奏でます。
It is held as part of the Kinomiya Shrine Annual Festival, Atami's largest festival.
The various townships in Atami bring out their intricately carved, lighted up, and decorated floats to highway 135 at night to compete to win the Kogashi Festival Float Contest and perform festival music.
